There is a saying: ‘Whoever tries them once, becomes their eternal admirer’. Truffles are undoubtedly gastronomic jewels. The truffle’s star status, among mushrooms has been gained chiefly from their unique taste, their rarity, the specific and demanding way their harvesting and the characteristics that they are credited with.
Istrian white truffles are amongst the most highly prized in the world whilst black truffles, which are especially appreciated in France, are becoming more and more attractive to culinary experts.
We registered our company for the buying and selling of these precious mushrooms in 1991 under name of ‘MIDEMI Ltd – Miro Truffles’, based in Motovun.
We offer both white and black truffles – either fresh or frozen.
